Hassan Zihan

Zihan is the founder and creator of Qvian. Across his career, he has been drawn to a single discipline: building things that have to work in the real world, where failure carries genuine consequences. That thread runs from ships, to institutions, to software.

A naval architect trained at the United States Naval Academy, Zihan spent more than a decade with the Maldives National Defence Force, where he designed marine vessels and led the engineering, construction, and infrastructure programmes that brought them to life. His responsibilities extended well beyond the drafting table: he went on to command operational units, translating technical expertise into operational leadership. Most recently, as Deputy Minister of Transport, he helped shape national policy and modernise the systems that thousands of people rely on every day, working at the intersection of engineering, governance, and public service.

Qvian is an extension of that same instinct: to take something complex and make it run cleanly. What began as a procurement platform has grown into an AI-powered business management suite, designed to bring clarity and order to the operational challenges businesses face. Zihan leads the company as both founder and lead engineer, moving fluently between strategy, design, and code, and bringing an architect’s discipline to every layer of the product.
